Welcome to my virtual New Year table!
New Year Party is the best and most important party for all Russians. This page shows my New Year table, all the meals I cooked for my friends and myself. I spent the whole day cooking and enjoyed it a lot! My friends told me the food was delicious. For most of you however, this table is virtual. :) Happy New Year!

Dining Room & New Year Tree

I've always had a very nice New Year Tree for every New Year season since I was boorn. Unfortunately I had to skip last year due to my relocation on December 18 and temporary housing situation. This year, I needed to make it up for myself.

This is the place where the real table is located :) Not a lot of lights, but this is my first attempt... Please come in, be my guest.

Main course (Hot meal)

The final stage of hot meal cooking usualy takes place after the party has started. Hot meals are served about half an hour into the new year which makes it impossilbe to take pictures without disturbing guests. Therefore what you see here are pictures taken after the party of what't left.

The party is over, we enjoyed it a lot. As always I wasn't very precise in figuring out how much food to cook. In fact, it turned out I cooked for about 10 people, while only 4 showed up. So LOTS of food is left in my refrigirator. :(
